The overall aim of the course is to provide the wide range of management tools and techniques required to control and manage complex technical organisations. These skills include: managing people; controlling finances; managing operations; making optimum use of all resources; ensuring quality in its widest sense; and a study of contract law.
Suitable for: Professional engineers who aspire to management positions in their organisations and who need to further develop their management skills and knowledge of current management techniques.

Requisitos: First degree in an engineering discipline including civil and software engineering at 2:2 or above, or at 60%+ average if a recognised classification is not available. And/or relevant work experience - relevant means managing reasonably sized projects with a number of staff and budgets above £50,000, must be 3+ years at this level alternatively applicants have 15+ years work experience and at least HND equivalent in relevant area Good English, spoken and written. We welcome applications from International and EU students. There are country-specific entry requirements.

Course overview

There is an increasing global demand for continuing professional development and this course will be of particular interest to engineers who wish to expand their careers into the management arena, irrespective of their area of technical expertise. It is designed for engineers in a wide range of technical fields including civil, mechanical, electronic and manufacturing engineering.
