Suitable for: Trained counsellors who are interested in working in an integrally informed way with clients.

Requisitos: Students applying must have a degree in counselling or in another related field. In addition, you must have either completed the Diploma HE in Integral Therapeutic Counselling at Anglia Ruskin or have a Diploma in Counselling or equivalent from another institution which is recognised by Anglia Ruskin University. You must be a counsellor in supervised practice. If you are unsure whether you are eligible, you will need to discuss this with the course tutor prior to applying. It would also be expected that you have experience of your own personal therapy-although it is not a prerequisite.

The MSc in Integral Therapeutic Counselling is a unique award within the UK; currently only Anglia Ruskin University offers counselling training within the integral therapeutic model, a model at the cutting-edge of current developments in therapeutic approaches.

Assessment

A wide range of formative and summative assessment tools are employed throughout the course in order to support fully student learning and to actively encourage student-led learning. Formative assessment via personal and learning journal submission and tutor feedback is used throughout the course. Summative assessment takes the form of the dissertation, formal essays and reflective overviews of own development and learning via final journal submissions.

The MSc provides the opportunity for you to undertake a significant piece of research within an integral frame. Planning starts in Year 1, and Year 3 is focused on enabling you to complete your study successfully.
