The MSc Sport Physiotherapy and Exercise Medicine is mapped to the ACPSEM and IFSPT pathways and covers the areas related to the accreditation pathway of the ACPSEM. Exercise prescription is a strong element of the course, which makes use of our staff's expertise in sport rehabilitation and strength and conditioning to give students experience in these areas too.

Eight modules make up the course, including a 150 hour work placement module and two modules which see students prepare for and then undertake a significant research project on a subject they are passionate about. The other modules take a comprehensive approach to advanced sports physiotherapy and clinical biomechanics, as well as pitchside management of traumatic injuries and immediate care in sport.
