Why study this programme?If you have the ability but not the qualifications, this extended degree may be for you. This new four-year programme (the first student intake was in September 2016) includes a foundation year.
The LLB Hons Law (Extended) programme's foundation year is designed to give you:
An introduction to the English Legal System. An introduction to Business Law. An introduction to Criminology. Improved communication skills. Academic writing skills.. After successful completion of the foundation year you will - over the remaining three years of the LLB Hons Law (Extended) programme - have the opportunity to study a range of specialist courses, equipping you with practical transferable skills that will prepare you for future employment in a range of working environments.
Following successful completion of the first year of the degree programme, students will have access to the range of opportunities* available to our LLB students which are aimed at enhancing graduates' chances of obtaining employment when they complete their degree:
You will benefit from presentations by guest speakers and networking events with employers, professional bodies and alumni to help you with your career planning. You will also have access to workshops and events designed to assist you with your CV and job applications and in developing a professional digital presence.. The School of Law has good links with a number of employers in London, including law firms, barristers' chambers and financial institutions through its well-established Law Advisory Forum.. We have a long-standing record of providing opportunities for LLB Hons Law students to apply to be selected to take part in placements, internships and mentoring schemes with a variety of employers in the legal and regulatory sectors.. LLB Hons Law students may apply to be selected to undertake pro bono work through various

¿Qué objetivos tiene esta formación?:

64 UCAS points from A-levels, plus GCSE English Language and Mathematics at grade C (or above)
Applications from those with an A‐level / AS-level background in relevant subjects
Other qualifications (in relevant subjects) which will be considered on application.

General Studies is not usually accepted.
